Excellent Irons
Date:May 6, 2012
These are the most accurate irons I have played. KBS tour shafts make a great combo. Excellent distance. I demoed these while visiting Austin and was fitted by the "Coach" with great customer service. I have 3 rounds with these and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Golfsmith has really made a beautiful set of irons keeping with the tradition of MacGregor...Great top line with looks to kill and perform as good as anything on the market...Great job
Pros: Durability, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Why would you buy anything else?

I picked up a set of these a few days ago and have been blown away by how good they are. They are the best of both worlds, getting the feedback on every shot, with a lot of forgiveness. I've been putting the ball on the green exactly where I want to with these irons.
I've hit forged cavity backs from Mizuno and Titleist, and these are just as good, if not better than them. The KBS shafts are just the cherry on top. For $400 for a forged set that performs with the best of them, you are stealing these from Golfsmith. Those who who are wary because MacGregor now being a house brand of Golfsmith's need to get over their brandwashing.
Just go and hit them and become a believer.
Pros: Durability, Features, Quality, Good Value

Great club!
Date:April 20, 2012
I had a set of MacGregor JNP forged irons in the late '80's that were my favorite irons I ever owned. After several years and numerous different iron sets, I have finally found their eqaul! My high draw is back (my preferred shot), and my distance is back! These are a club longer and much more accurate than my last set, Calloway X20's. I love the way they set up with little to no offset and the thin top-line, and the feel of a forged club when struck cleanly can't be beat! These have to be the best buy out there in irons, give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Forged irons
Date:February 27, 2012
After struggling with the offset in my x 20's for a year, and after trying different shaft configurations I never could get what I wanted. So went to golf Smith and hit these bad boys. I couldn't be happier very lil offset and the best looking club from the top I have ever hit. They are hot of the face and deliver consistent distance and shot shape. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!!
Pros: Durability, Quality, Good Value
