When the historic MacGregor golf brand was reborn in 2010, it brought with it a mix of contemporary, game-improving technology and traditional, player-inspired clubs – the Tourney M75T Driver is definitely a good example of both. While the Tourney M75T was designed for the traditionalist, with a classic head shape and styling in a XXXcc head, it still packs a serious punch out of the tee box. Precision engineering places the center of gravity low, and deep behind the clubface to promote low-spinning and high-flying drives for more carry and roll, which means more distance. Cup Face 360° Technology yields a hot, springy, welded clubface that provides high ball speeds – and big distance – with a larger, more forgiving sweet spot. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Results I've been looking at this driver for a few months, and when the price was reduced, I could not resist purchasing. I have been using a Taylor 2.0, 10.5 degree driver for about a year and did fairly well with it. I just felt that if I was to switch to a 9.5 degree driver, I could benefit from the additional roll. I did not have the time to practice with the M75T prior to playing a round. The first drive went a little right, but seemed longer than my usual drives. It took a few holes to get accustomed to the new driver, but hit 13 out of 14 well, most straight down the middle. Overall, I average 10 to 15 yards longer. January 6, 2013
