MacGregor Tourney M75T Driver

When the historic MacGregor golf brand was reborn in 2010, it brought with it a mix of contemporary, game-improving technology and traditional, player-inspired clubs – the Tourney M75T Driver is definitely a good example of both. While the Tourney M75T was designed for the traditionalist, with a classic head shape and styling in a XXXcc head, it still packs a serious punch out of the tee box. Precision engineering places the center of gravity low, and deep behind the clubface to promote low-spinning and high-flying drives for more carry and roll, which means more distance. Cup Face 360° Technology yields a hot, springy, welded clubface that provides high ball speeds – and big distance – with a larger, more forgiving sweet spot. The MacGregor Tourney M75T is a classically styled game-improvement driver that is well suited to golfers of any skill level.

Features:

  • MacGregor Cup Face 360º Technology
  • Lightweight shaft from UST Mamiya
  • Low, deep center of gravity

Great Club, Great Deal
Date:August 18, 2011
The 1st name brand driver that I've ever had (bought it from someone at my job) was a used Nike SQ, reg. flex, 10.5 loft. I struggled with it for years making the mistake of adjusting myself to the club. After a few lessons and recommendations, someone recommended the MacGregor driver (same loft stiffer shaft) that was very reasonably priced. What a difference! You don't need to have a fast swing speed to notice how the ball just jumps off the club face. I'm getting the same distance that I was getting with the Nike SQ however, with less effort I'm on the fairway a lot more often. I can't wait to try out the complementary 3 wood I got with it.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Great Driver
Date:August 1, 2011
My previous driver broke, the face cracked, this broken driver came in a inexpensive set. I returned the driver to Golfsmith to be mailed back to the Manufacturer. A couple of days later I got a call from Golfsmith asking if they could replace my broken driver with a Macgregor M75T 11.5 loft with a senior flex shaft. After a short discussion I agreed. When I first received the new driver I was a little concerned with the steeper lie angle. After a couple of rounds I got accustomed to the new driver and was hitting the ball 30-40 yards farther. I am an 81 year old beginning golfer.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value

I love this Driver! Easy to use, the impact with the ball is smooth. I have a 110mph swing speed and I was averaging around 270 yards per drive. 10.5 degree loft with a stiff shaft.
Golfsmith is currently offering a choice of a free 3,5, or hybrid with the purchase of this club. Two clubs for $115!
Pros: Features, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability

Great driver!

Coming from a 2009 Titleist 909D2, instantly, I am 25 ~ 30 yds longer. Considerably straighter, also.
I don't know if it's the Cup Face technology, or the stiff shaft, but it really is working for me!
I couldn't be more pleased with this driver!
