The MacGregor VIP Wedge is a Tour-quality forged wedge, which combines a classic look and shape with superior spin control and soft feel. Made from soft 1025 carbon steel with an advanced, 800-ton forging process, the VIP wedge’s tightly compacted grain structure results in beautiful feel and tremendous consistency. The clubface’s micro-milled surface optimizes spin control, and with five loft/bounce combinations available, there’s one for every shot type you can think of. AMAZING: MacGregor VIP Wedges, Do NOT overlook!

Let me start by saying that the other top brands are 5-star wedges, but if that's the case, then these are 6-stars! Yes; these wedges have raised the bar for me, and it's been a long time since I've found a product that's done that.
These are actually a step above the major brand forged wedges that I used to play. And forget about the CAST wedges that everyone seems to think are so great (rhymes with hokey, what a coincidence...); when are people gonna learn that those things are junk! These MacGregor wedges are a great example of a small company turning out some of the best equipment available at awesome prices, and the sad thing is, many people still won't touch them because they don't say *okey or *izuno on them, sad and ridiculous, how tainted the golf industry/community has become. These wedges are so good, that after playing them for one round, I bought the VIP irons too and I wasn't even looking for new irons! (haven't received yet, but I will review once I do), actually, to be honest, after just ONE shot with one of these wedges, I said "WOW, I have never hit anything like this before". I've played them a few rounds now and they continue to be phenomenal in every way. The MacGregor name may have shifted owners, but they are doing all the right things with the products. And while your out here, check out the reviews for the drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and putters; all fantastic offerings that hold their own against the biggest brands. Just noticed these wedges are now offered in a CC model too; awesome! Keep up with the good work guys! Add some muscle-backs to the line up too, or some muscle-backs with minimal cavity. I think if you stay in the vein of offering players clubs, like the history of MacGregor, you'll go far. Such a great brand NAME too; can you think of a brand name out there today that is more appropriate to golf's origins? I've got a feeling this brand has got a long future ahead, I know I'll certainly be supporting them!

I bought 2 of these wedges and they are fantastic, also the sevice from golfsmith was incredible!!! i ordered the clubs on Friday and they arrived at my door the following Wednesday, and i live at the bottom of Australia!!!! How good is that.

Purchased 52dg and 60dg vip macgregor wedges and believe me they play as well as they look,Fantastic,Cant believe they are not the most spoken about wedges out there,forget about looking elswhere if you want pure quality at super,super prices pick 3 of these up for cheaper than 2 of the other top brands,You wont be dissapointed.

I brought the 56 and 60 degree and both clubs have a beautiful shape and very easy to hit with a soft feel. Everything you could ever want or wish for in a club. I wish i could carry 4 wedges in my bag coz i would love to also have a 52 as well. Great club... Great value...
