GREAT CLUBS

I got theses clubs today because my other pair was breaking down and I had cavity backs. When I first tried them out I wasn't hitting great with them until I actually got onto the course and played very well. They are great for transitioning into blades (which I did). They have great accuracy and power. With a decently sized sweet spot thy are perfect for me to use.

Disappointed, ... but....

My first order was incorrectly filled -- they sent the wrong shaft flex -- the "corrected" order had the right flex, but the grips were mismatched, the wear was greater than I expected, and one shaft showed pitting. I did not feel they were worth the price I was charged, so I returned them. Customer service is excellent and I was promised a full refund, so I would try Golfsmith again for specific "classic" sets, or individual clubs. Older Mizunos are the best forged irons there are.

great clubs

i bought these clubs a few weeks ago and they have a traditional look and have great feel. the ball flight is great and the workability is awesome. there were some scratches and dings on the bottom of the irons but all in all they were in great shape. i love the way they feel on solid shots

In terms of performance these clubs are absolutely stunning. For a players iron they are plenty forgiving but do not take away from any shotmaking. The quality of the clubs in terms of cosmetics was better than i thought they would be.

I bought mine in-store. I had 9 sets to choose from and ALL of them were priced lower than online. Most of them in like new condition. I really recommend buying used clubs in the Golfsmith store because you can get better prices and actually see the condition. It wasn't just these irons that were cheaper... they all were. So were the woods too.
