This used set was in terrible condition considering the price. On a scale of 10, easily 2-3. Grips extremely worn, paint missing from lettering, and numerous dents.

Mizuno irons for life.

I took up golf about 3 years ago. I purchased my first irons from Golfsmith, 2006 Callaway Big Bertha's. These were the super-game improvement irons and were highly touted in Golf Digest.
After 3 years with these irons, I decided that it was time to upgrade. My swing had progressed enough that I did not need the wide sole that the Big Bertha irons provided.
I went to Golfsmith and tried several irons, sticking with forged clubs only. After many swings and sets tried, I chose Mizuno MX200 irons.
The irons only took me one round to get them dialed in.
I have played 4 rounds of golf, and already I have posted my lowest score ever, and this on the 3rd round with these clubs I recorded my first hole in one. 153 yard par 3 with a 8 iron.
The trajectory with these clubs are amazing. The leading edge takes the perfect divot and the spin produced is amazing.
I'm hitting iron shots I had no idea I was capable of.
If your swing is improving and you want some player type irons, Id recommend these to anybody.
Only negative is, as with any forged club, is that the steel is soft and they will dent easily. Watch your swing hitting out of the woods, rocks will bang these clubs up.
