The technology of the PING G15 Iron provides the high-launching, maximum forgiveness benefits that the majority of golfers rely on to bring consistency to their iron play. The stainless steel iron's cavity design features a floating Custom Tuning Port (CTP) which expands the perimeter weighting and increases the moment of inertia. Weight savings from a thinner face is re-positioned to the toe for added forgiveness on miss-hits, and the G15's wider sole produces a higher launch angle. Stronger lofts combine with a center of gravity located low and farther from the face to produce longer shots without sacrificing the higher launch angle required in a maximum forgiveness iron.

Forgiving Irons

I got fitted for a set and they has shaved 5 strokes min off my score. I found that I needed an upright lie angle (silver) so club travels through the ground and ball goes straight. Highly recommend these clubs.

Great Set of Irons!

I went into Golfsmith last spring and had a set of these custom fitted. I'm 6' 4" with long arms. Golfsmith was very helpful in fitting me with a set of these. I was playing stock irons. What a difference. I am hitting greens in reg now that I used to miss right or left. It took me a little while to get used to them. Ping built me a set for the same price as if I purchased a stock set of irons, and shipped them to me quite fast. I was impressed to say the least. If you haven't been fitted and want to improve your game, get fitted for a set of these. They are longer and higher than any other irons I've hit.

I recently purchased the G15 irons after trying both the I15's and G15's. Both clubs felt really solid but after hitting the G15 7 iron on the course I made my decision. I've played one round thus far and couldn't be happier with the performance. I've played mostly players irons throughout the years but decided I wanted to play a club with more forgiveness. The non sweet spot shots on these irons perform very well, I noticed on my mishits I still hit the greens and gave myself opportunities to putt which will lower my scores. I highly recommend these irons for low/mid/high handicappers.
