In the design of the i15 iron, PING engineers focused on the needs of the better player who benefits from an iron set that offers the control to play a variety of shots. Created as a progressive set, the longer irons are larger for more forgiveness, while the mid- and short-irons transition slightly smaller to ensure more workability and control on approach shots. The stainless steel iron features a tungsten toe insert to add forgiveness to the mid-size design. A stabilizing bar and floating Custom Tuning Port (CTP) provide the feel and sound attributes preferred by better players.

irons are sick, not quite a players blade, but with a thinner top line than other ping models. sole grind allows to play aggressive w/o digging. lofts are slightly stronger with the p wedge being 46* not the standard 48*. when struck well, it feels great and the ball flies straight. also, the faces on the clubs are milled.

Got these irons. Played about 5 rounds in 2 weeks with them. No distance gained maybe lost some and the accuracy didnt change much from the last irons I had and i had these fitted. Overall a good price now but these irons are not anything to write home about.

Great Clubs

I had recently upgraded to the i15's 3-pw from the G5 3-pw. the G5's were great, but time to upgrade as my game improved, so after hitting several different ping and titleist models, chose the i15's. the shorter irons hit VERY HIGH and VERY FAR compared to my previous G series. the shorter irons (7-pw) are also very easy to work and shape shots. the 3-5 irons are a little chunkier than i would like, but they go, and are forgiving enough from a good distance out. Overall these clubs are a fantastic club for mid to low handicap Golfers.

Got them fitted

Recently i had my club pro fit me for a set of irons. He had me hit a big selection but i hit these the most consistent. Im a 4 handicap and needed a little forgiveness and a litte distance. These were them. I wood recommend them to 4-15 handicappers. The 5 and 4 irons are a bit chunky, but they go
