Ping K15 Iron Set

The Ping K15 Iron Set is a blended set comprised of multi-metal irons and higher launching hybrids. The K15 iron/hybrid set is designed for golfers who benefit from a maximum forgiveness design. The titanium face and steel body of the K15 iron creates a higher moment of inertia for greater accuracy and consistent distance results across the club face. The wide-soled irons feature a low and deep center of gravity position to promote higher trajectories. Two stainless steel hybrids offer options to replace a traditional 5 or 6 iron while the 3- and 4-hybrids ensure higher-launching shots for slower swing speed golfers. Each hybrid is engineered with patent-pending technology which reduces spin and increases launch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bigpoppa11 Whoa!!! I am a beginner golfer, but enjoy playing. Had a "starter" set of clubs that I pieced together. I was doing alright, but was starting to get frustrated by my lack of control no matter what i did to fix my swing. I tried these clubs and MAN, what a difference. There was no comparison when I tried other clubs as well. They require no effort to hit the ball, so I get straighter shots and still get great distance. I am using more of my clubs now which helps me be more accurate with distances. I love golf, now and unless they come out with clubs that swing themselves, you'd be crazy not to get these. I do not regret buying these clubs at all! November 22, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by ToddRx Best Irons I've Played I'm a high handicap player (25), and have tried A LOT of irons. The last 2 years I have used: Cleveland Hibore, Adams A7os MAX, and now the K15. These are the best irons I have ever played. VALUE: Obviously, the K15's are one of the most expensive irons on Golfsmith so value really depends on your situation. For me, I wasted 699 on the Hibore's (then traded them in for $60), wasted 799 on the Adams (then traded them in for $300) and finally settled on the K15's. VALUE for me is that I now have a set of irons I feel like I will use for the next 5 years without constantly wondering what else is out there. DISTANCE: Not sure why, but I seem to have lost a little distance. This seems to be consistent with other reviewers. OVERALL PLAYABILITY: Far and away the best I've played. I play probably two rounds a week and I've never had more confidence in my irons. These look great at address. I tend to hit balls all over the clubface (hence the high handicap) and still I am getting great results from these. I get all the forgiveness of more "hybrid" sets like the HiBore or Adams a7os MAX, without having 10 goofy looking clubs in my bag. Wish I could give more insight, but what more do you need to hear other than these are seriously my favorite clubs of the past 15 years! May 15, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by GeoEgg As Advertised Long, High, Straight ! I actually had to club down 2 clubs from my previuos set. I have never hit the ball so high. The hybrids are just as acurate as the shorter irons. Incredible! Thanks Ping !! May 4, 2011
