PING i15 Driver

The fade-biased design of the PING i15 Driver meets the needs of golfers who place a high priority on working their tee shots. The traditional pear-shaped 460cc titanium head is engineered with a bulge crown design to optimize energy transfer for greater ball speed and produce the solid feel preferred by better golfers. A tighter bulge and roll allows for internal weighting which reduces spin to promote a tour-preferred trajectory.

Shaft Options:

  • TFC 700D Shaft: This Tour-proven, premium graphite shaft designed by PING utilizes lightweight materials, and features progressive weight and flex and torsion profiles to increase club head speed for maximum distance while providing optimal launch conditions for superior control, consistency and feel.
  • UST Mamiya AXIVcore Tour Red 69 Shaft: Premium graphite shaft designed by UST Mamiya provides a great fitting alternative to the TFC 700 family. This shaft will generally provide a slightly lower launch angle compared to the TFC 700D shaft.

Custom services such as etchings, shaft purring, and shaft cushions are available on this product with additional up-charges. Call 1-800-396-0099 for details.

Great Driver!!!!!!
Date:August 12, 2011
This driver is amazing, i used to have a big draw now i'm hitting a slight fade or just straight. It feels great when u hit it in the center, and the mishits for me usually just miss the fairway. I don't recommend this to someone with a fade or slice. The face is already 2 degrees open.

So far so good
Date:June 14, 2011
I have been playing a G10 for a couple of years and have always been a very good driver of the ball until lately when my misses were low hooks. It's been so bad that I have pretty much started using my 3 wood on Driver holes at my home course. I hit the I15 at a demo day a few weeks ago at my club and liked what I saw and when I saw the recent price drop I thought I had to buy it. It took me about 15 balls on the range to get the feel and I was able to hit a slight fade or a slight draw with minor adjustments. Took it our yesterday for a quick 9 after work and hit 4 of 5 fairways from the back tees. I have not noticed a distance gain but I had confidence that I knew where the ball was going.
This driver is not for everyone. If you are a good ball striker and struggle with a hook, you should give it a try.

Long Distance With Ease
Date:May 22, 2011
The 8-degree Ping i15 Driver has me hitting the ball further than I ever have. I replaced my Ping Rapture with this driver and I hate to say it to my Rapture, but goodbye!
I ordered the club with the UST Axiv Core 69 Red shaft. I have traditionally used Aldilla shafts, but I find the UST fits my swing adequately.
In two rounds I have found this club to be very impressive. The ball jumps off the face and the trajectory is a sturdy boring flight. When your tempo is correct, an easy swing produces drives of 270 to 290 yards.
