PING i15 Hybrid with Graphite Shaft

For golfers who prefer a traditional shape and size, PING's i15 Hybrid offers a high moment of inertia with a tour-preferred trajectory. Internal weighting positions the center of gravity low and back to produce the penetrating ball flight that gives better players the control to hit a variety of shots from most any lie. Stronger lofts contribute to lower spin rates for additional control.

Shaft Options:

  • TFC 700H Shaft: Premium graphite shaft designed by PING that utilizes a heavier design preferred by golfers with faster swing speeds, while still featuring progressive weight, flex and torsion profiles to achieve optimal launch conditions for superior control, consistency and feel.
  • UST Mamiya AXIVcore Tour Red 85 Hybrid Shaft: Premium graphite shaft designed by UST Mamiya that provides a great fitting alternative to the TFC 700 family. This shaft will generally provide a slightly lower launch angle compared to the TFC 700H shaft.

Custom services such as etchings, shaft purring, and shaft cushions are available on this product with additional up-charges. Call 1-800-396-0099 for details.

WOW!
Date:June 21, 2011
I bought this used at Golfsmith this past weekend. 23* w/the Avicore stiff shaft and I am actually hitting it further than my 20* Nickent Hybrid!
Very easy to hit, looks great and misses seem to be a slight slice for me. 210-230 yards with ease for me.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability

Ball jumps off the clubface!!
Date:August 10, 2010
L-O-N-G and very straight too. I ditched my Taylor Made Rescue TP for a 17-degree Ping i15 and am loving it. 385 yard par 4 today with this club off the tee and had 130 in. I hit the Taylor Made 210 max, this is 15% farther without a doubt. I play a draw and this work just fine with a slight draw. I even thinned one today and got 210 out of it AND on the left hand side of the fairway. The other important aspect is the way this club sets up. Confidence is key and looking down at the clean lines and shapely head give me the feeling that the ball is going where I want it to. This and the G15 driver are my two favorite clubs in the bag.
Pros: Features, Easy to Use

Terrific Addition!
Date:June 18, 2010
I've always been solid when it came to my long irons, but am getting to the point where consistency & forgiveness are more of a premium. Bought the 17 degree to replace my 2 iron. Little did I know that it would replace it and my 3 wood! This is an extremely versatile club that I can choke down and keep low or swing hard and let it fly.
This club is much better looking at address than most other hybrids ( I prefer a square face, not offset) and inspires confident swings everytime.
Now I'm debating on whether or not to get the 20 degree.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use

More like an Iron than any other
Date:April 29, 2010
I have used several hybrid clubs in the past 5 years of playing, but none as solid and workable as the i15. Due to its shape and look at address, this club really inspires you to hit down on the ball and take a divot for a nice penetrating ball flight and a soft landing. I can also shape a shot easily with this club. I am a scratch golfer and I recommend this club to anyone who wants the distance of a hybrid, but the playability of an Iron.
