Great Putter
Date:April 11, 2012
Lining up putts with this putter is a no-brainer. The speed control is what takes practice. Once you are able to control your distance you will never want to go back to a standard length putter.

so far worth the hype
Date:March 19, 2012
Bought this putter over the weekend, of course I checked all the Golfsmith stores in Phoenix, but they didn't have any and I wanted it now- but that's not going to stop me from leaving a review here. I've always been a two putt guy unless I unexpectedly drain one from long distance... three putts weren't out of the ordinary either. I "waggled" upon my putting takeaway- so I was instantly offline. I took it out on the one round I played down there and it's definitely different and is going to take some getting used to. It's not just another putter you can pickup after using the conventional length ones for 20+ years. Gauging the speed was my biggest obstacle. The lines were honestly correct and it's usually the other way around, great speed and a garbage line I've hit upon. Soon as the rest of the snow melts up here this guy will be practiced with until I'm less than 30 putts per round and won't be leaving my bag until / if they ban them- and probably after that because I'm not turning pro anytime soon. If you can find one- buy it, practice with it, and perfect it. They're not for everybody. Also make sure you get the correct length. I'm 6'2" and got a 43" and I think it's perfect, but everyone's putting style is different.

Now I Understand
Date:November 27, 2011
Having tried the belly putter several years ago and hating it, I had not been able to understand why we have seen such a movement to them this year on the part of skilled players. Having tried the Kombi Belly in recent days, I now understand.
Obviously when the belly putter first came out years ago there was little product development done. The companies simply put a regular putter head on a long shaft without regard for balance. Now the companies like Scotty Cameron have done their R & D and what you have in the Kombi is a putting machine.
Frankly I didn't like the Kombi in its standard form factor, but in the Belly it is balanced, comfortable, and very stable. You have to practice with it for a while, but after three one hour sessions I am rolling the ball as well as I was with my regular putter.
The belly is something everyone should try and the Kombi should first on the list.
