Not for me
Date:February 19, 2012
I built a set PW thru 7 with the 685X head and a 6 & 5 with the 685 OS Milled & all with Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue shafts. I immediatly noted that the 685 OS works much better for me than the 685X. I now I find that the PW is rusting, hmmm not what I expected. I think I am going to switch to the 685 OS.

Top notch forged for good price
Date:January 30, 2012
I made a set of 4-PW with Nippon 1100GH Uniflex shafts (from Callaway irons) to use as my "winter irons" to save my Mizunos from excess wear. The 685X are very close in feel to my MP53's, if I had my eyes closed it would be difficult to tell the difference. The 685X are slightly bigger, almost mid-size, and therefore pretty forgiving for a forged head. Short irons tend to balloon a little but long irons easy to hit. As durable as any other forged irons I have tried. Only negative is the cavity design/graphics, a little busy and tacky.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: Poor Design

Fabulous Club head and shaft
Date:January 3, 2012
Based on the reviews here at Go;fsmith site, I took a chance as a 56 y/o 20 hcap to purchase the 685x heads and pair with the True Temper GS 95 shaft reg. flex. Figured the low hcap guys that typically use these would know what they are talking about. Reviews stated that even mid hcap could play these and they were correct. Club is surprisingly forgiving and when struck properly the feeling is so pure it is shocking. Distance is the same as with my other clubs (Rac LT2). The sharp leading edge gives confidence to hit down and through the ball. With these clubs I feel like I am playing "real" golf for the first time. Had to trust that I could ball strike well with the smaller head with minimum offset. GS 95 shaft is the finest I have ever used and the pairing gives this set the perfect butter feel with the correct shot trajectory for me. Really glad I took a chance on this setup.

rusty club
Date:October 20, 2011
I really like the design and the feel of the club but what I don't like is if I don't clean them after every shot and it is must to clean them when I get home the face will start to rust. If these are really forged I belive they should not rust. All the forged clubs that I have used in the pass have never rusted
Pros: Features, Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: Quality, Durability
