Excellent Club!
Date:December 1, 2011
I bought this for my 13 yr old daughter, paired with a SE UST Pro-Force shaft, regular flex . She absolutely loves this club! One thing I really like about this club (I''ve hit is also) is that even the higher lofts have a square clubface. Great sound, feel, and look.
FYI, I've been playing snake eyes irons since 2001, so I know of the quality of Snake Eyes.

I loved this driver for its good performance. However, it is broken in just 6 months. Top of the driver head is cut off during my practice and is thought due to some kind of defect.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: Quality, Durability

Good driver before failure
Date:June 14, 2011
The head cracked with under 50 balls struck. First let me say, Golfsmith customer service was great about the situation and exceeded my expectations on the matter. Built with 9.5 deg w/ Graf prolaunch red, X stiff. I would have givin it 4-5 stars, but 3 stars for obviouse reasons. I liked all aspects of the driver prior to the failure. Forgiving on off center hits. Workability above average. With the Graff red shaft I was expecting a little lower ball flight, but it was still a good boring flight and did not balloon. Bad swings stayed in play. Ironically I bought this head because my 6 year old Snake eyes Fire Forged Compressor (loved it) cracked last fall same place along the face and sole plate. There is another review on here as well about failure with the 685t. I am loosing some faith with Golfsmith driver heads. Overall, i would and may still give it another try. After some research, its fairly common these days with the 460 CC heads to crack even in major brands.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: Durability

Very good high trajectory driver head
Date:June 12, 2011
I bought the Snake Eyes 685T driver head as part of a club bundle that includes the Snake Eyes Proforce XTD wood shaft (10.5 degree, regular). The 685T driver with that shaft gives me a nice high trajectory which is what I want as I'm getting older and need more trajectory to keep some distance. The sound at impact is very good and solid -- it doesn't sound like an empty tin cap like some big driver heads. The 685T is a very attractive driver head as well. All considered, I recommend the Snake Eyes 685T for those who want a high trajectory driver.
Pros: Features, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value
