Snake Eyes Viper Tour Blade Putter Head:

The new Snake Eyes Viper Tour Blade Putter carries forward traditionally shaped blade designs, with the addition of roll optimization technology in its face. Double milling lines, cut horizontally across the face, create a center friction zone. This face design requires less loft to achieve an efficient roll of the ball, and its waffle milling results in dampened vibration upon ball contact. In short, less putter material contacts the ball, resulting in a softer feel.

I really like this putter @ 34" with one of the standard snake eyes grips. The distance control and overall feel with it is absolutely top notch. I had been using the 7802 head with the Superstroke slim grip and it also makes a lot of putts, but it just doesn't offer as much control as the SV1 head and the smaller grip. As the speed of the greens at my local course has increased, I wanted to go back to a smaller grip. When putting with the SV1 and I feel like I can be less mechanical and more of an artist with the putter. Now @ $25, the SV1 is probably the best value in premium putter components you can find anywhere.

Don't let the price fool you!

I have owned countless putters. High end handmades, putters made for tour players, Camerons, custom shop, you name it. When I struck this putters sweet spot for the first time I think felt the earth shift! This is the sweetest feeling putter I have ever putted with for the money. There are a few cosmetics flaws being a production putter, but the feel and weight is unbelievable. I am using a Titleist Pro V with it and it feels like I am putting marshmellows!

I wanted to upgrade the putter in my "lake" clubs - the clubs I leave in my shed at the lake that I could live without if they were ever stolen. I chose the SV1 because it was similar to my Yes! Nicky at half the price. After shafting it with a TT stepless shaft I can honestly say it putts (for me) as good as the Nicky, and better than both my Scotty Cameron & PING Anser. I wish it had an aiming reference mark on it but I guess I can add that myself. I've since relegated my Odyssey White Steel to the lake.

Simple but Great!

This is a terrific, simple head design that really works well. The weight is just right for the majority of greens golfers will face.I like the clean simple lines,no distractions with weights, wild designs, that concept putters have every year.I also like the balance and the way the ball comes off the face.Pure Butter!!! Can't go wrong with this one.
