Bazooka JMax Gold Hybrid with Graphite Shaft

The Bazooka JMax Gold Hybrid has a two-piece construction that features a hyper steel body and a forged crown that maximizes weight distribution to easily get the ball into the air. Thinner and denser than the cast walls, the forged steel crown provides a lower center of gravity and enhances rebound off the face. Crown pull casting technology creates a stronger more dense body so the walls and face can be made thinner to get more spring off the face and place more mass in the sole. The face is made as thin as possible with variable face thickness and structurally supported with three internal reinforcement bars. A heavy 125-gram sole creates one of the lowest centers of gravity available in an iron. The result, even off-center hits fly longer and more accurate for lower scores. It has a thinner, more eye-appealing top line than previous versions and a heavier sole that combine to make the JMAX Gold easier to hit. The top line inspires confidence and is designed to mix and match with any Bazooka iron and the low kick-point graphite shafts help hit higher more forgiving shots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tour Edge Bazooka Nice club. I really hit it further than my five iron. Exceptionally forgiving ,the ball flies long and strait. November 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by 8 & 9 Hybrids by Tour Edge I went to fairway woods, 3,5 & 7 a few years back. I gave up on the irons as companies began to increase the lofts of the hybrids. Now with an 8 & 9 to go with my 3 through 7 hybrids, the only irons I still have are the wedge and sandwedge. Unbelievable how straight and high the hybrids work and I have produced backspin on both of them. I see a time approaching that I can get rid of the two wedges. Thank you for an excellent product 'and' at such an affordable price. November 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A solid entry-level hybrid The Bazooka JMAX Gold continues to be a solid entry-level hybrid. I have been using older versions of this club for about 5 years now and they have replaced virtually every club in my bag (save the obligatory sand wedge and putter). I doubt that I could ever go back to using traditional irons or fairway woods: my 3 iron goes about 210-225 and—because of the amount of weight below the ball on the clubface—the ball flies over the moon and stops on a dime. The only disappointment: I wish that the shaft was a little tighter. There seems to be a tad bit of play that I don’t love. This is not, however, enough to make me give up these otherwise useful clubs. They make playing golf fun again. September 27, 2012
