Beautiful Club!
Date:May 14, 2012
Picked up the 910D3, 8.5 degree loft with a 'Ahina stiff flex shaft in it. Titleist has made an aesthetical gem! The clubhead is beautiful to look at with the classic "pear shape" head.
Thank you to Dominic at the Lakeside Michigan store for custom fitting me to this club. I demo'd the Ping I-20 and TaylorMade R11S and the difference in yardage for me crazy! The Titleist outperformed the other two clubs by 40-50 yards and the spin rate dropped over 1100 RPM in some cases.
This Titleist club was very solid out on the course the first time. For the player who is looking to lower his trajectory and get spin rate down, the 'Ahina shaft is for you. This club is a serious piece of equipment for a serious player.
Remember, if you are going to spend the money on a Driver, get properly fitted! You will enjoy the game that much more.

THE BEST
Date:March 1, 2012
The Titleist 910D3 (for the better player as opposed to the D2) was clearly the right choice for me. Being an advanced golfer, my new driver needed to provide improvement on a few critical factors from my TM R7-TP (Fujikura Motore).
First and foremost, I needed a driver/shaft combo that gave me max distance while controlling the backspin through a high kick point and low torque; satisfied by the 'ahina 72 X (2.7 torque) option. Took my drive from avg of 292 yds to 303, nice! Second, I needed a driver that is easily workable; the 445cc pear shaped head is traditional and very responsive. Last, I needed a driver that provided quality, consistent, pure contact. The R11S TP, like many other "new" "max distance" drivers simply sounded odd, i.e. some very dull and unresponsive, others like an aluminum baseball bat. The 910D3 was impressive and truly prodigious relative to all others.
Customization - cut to 43.75 inches, thus reduced by roughly 5 grams. Golfpride New Decade MultiCompound Cord (Yellow) w triple layered tape under (improve thickness lost from shaft cut).
Word to the wise, if you're going to spend this kind of money on a driver, do yourself a favor get it sized! Unless your 6'4" or taller, you most likely will see a dramatic increase in control and no loss of distance by cutting your shaft for proper sizing.
Pros: Durability, Features, Quality
Cons: Difficult to Use

Holy Schmoly!
Date:February 16, 2012
I, like most, have rolled through drivers since picking up the game. Some, I hit good. Some, okay. And some, I just down right sprayed all over the course. After a equipment makeover with my irons and wedges, I tackled the big stick. So after a year of shopping and demo-ing I find myself in a local golf shop standing over one of these. Looks absolutely beautiful at set up. Classic pear shaped head that Titleist is known for. After a thorough fitting I found the Ahina 72 stiff brought my launch angle down to 16 degress and lowered my ball spin incredibly. I used to fight a high ball, but not with this little gem. I have finally found the boring flight I have been searching for. The D3 is a very workable driver with an almost unbelievable hot face. Thank you Titleist! I'm going to drive the tires off of this joker! And everyone should remember, GET FITTED FOR YOUR EQUIPMENT! You won't regret it.

Winner!
Date:December 15, 2011
I'm a Golf Course Superintendent, and had the chance to demo ALL the big name drivers on the market. Nike, Callaway, Taylormade, and Ping included. I hit this one last because it was rented out, but as soon as I hit the first shot I knew I was done looking. Solid, hot face, and low-boring ball flight. I wanted an adjustable driver as well and this system is simple. I used to over spin a driver and had a balloon type ball flight, not with this thing. Ive gained 10 to 15 yards easily in roll out. It sounded the best, felt the best, ball flight was the best, and in my opinion looked the best. Clear winner! 9.5 with stock project-X stiff.
