I purchased the AP2 710 with the DG S300 shafts from Golfsmith this morning at 11am. By 1:00 I was on the golf course using them for the first time. After 18 holes I shot a 5-over 77 at a top notch course in my area. It was easily the best round that I have had this year.
These clubs replaced my Mizuno MP52's and I am extremely happy with my purchase. If you haven't had the opportunity to try these irons, do yourself a favor and try them out TODAY!

I have been a life-long Callaway irons player, until now. I started the season with the Callaway RAZR X Forged, and while I liked them, I was not crazy about the Project X Flighted shafts. I could not ignore the reviews on the AP2s, so I traded in my RAZR X forged for the AP2 with TT DG S300 steel shafts. One word, WOW! I have heard people say "the club just swings itself" and always balked at that statement, but I see how people try to describe that feeling now. I honestly feel like I just need to load a little on my right and let the club drop down to the ball. The ball flight is penetrating, and the feel is great. I never thought I would say this, but goodbye Callaway, hello Titleist. Great clubs!

Great irons

I also have the 910 driver and the fd 3 wood and these irons are just the best.
I wanted the Project X steel shafts to compliment the woods and am very happy with my choice.
Much better higher trajectory for me which helps with the longer irons to a green. Good feedback and forgiving too.
Most of all I like the look of the head at address.

If you want the best set of irons then AP2s are what you looking for. And I highly recommend them with Project X shafts as well.
