The Adams Idea Tech V3 All-Hybrid Set is the easiest-to-hit iron set in golf. Sporting a dramatic NiCr/PVD black finish, this ultra-premium set establishes a new standard in the super game-improvement category with the latest technology and sleek new design features. The Tech V3 All-Hybrid Set consists of 4-, 5- and 6- progressively-sized hybrids, a 7-mid-hybrid and four hybrid-scoring irons (8-GW). The easy-to-hit long hybrids feature strategically placed tungsten weighting in the premium stainless steel head for enhanced forgiveness and spin. A four-way chambered sole and recessed heel and toe areas reduce turf drag for superior playability and versatility. I bought this set because I am stuck on a 16 hcp and I turn 60 this year. Always thought hybrids are for old men. The clubs came today (10 days early) and had to play hookie and try them.
First time out ... Shot an 80. Drives were off the fairway, but I hit 15 GIR's. I landed all of the par 3's soft. When I missed a shot, it CAME BACK to the green! All of the shots launched high with +10 yards distance. I'm wondering just how much these clubs will improve my game this season. I just wish Adams made an Idea Tech putter!

Great Irons

Purchased these last Friday. Have already played 3 rounds with them and found them to be very forgiving and easy to hit. Only minus is the finish is already starting to show wear which is something Adams should be able to address easily.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Very easy clubs to hit

Usually have to adjust to new clubs. Picked the forged set up and went strait to the course and shot my best round ever. A little worried about the paint issue, but my last set of adams were in good shape after 8 years so I trust their quality.

Best set of irons I've had in my bag

I bought a used set of these clubs and have used them for 5 rounds. I've never hit my other irons as far or as straight as these irons.
In the last five rounds I've cut at least 10 strokes off my score with these irons.
Some people do not like that the PVD finish wears off rather quickly but as long as I score as well as I am with these irons I do not care if they turn pink with use.
Pros: Innovative, Good Value, Easy to Use, Lightweight, Good Aesthetics, love the 4-5-6 hybrids
Cons: pvd finish wears off very fast
