TaylorMade Burner Plus Iron Set 4-PW & GW with Steel Shafts

Get Burner power plus maximum forgiveness!

The TaylorMade Buner Plus Irons' wide, beveled, multi-functional sole design combines the low, deep CG (center of gravity) of a wide sole and the playability of a thin sole for an unbeatable combo of power and feel. Perimeter weighting creates high MOI (moment of inertia) for unsurpassed forgiveness and a large clubface with Inverted Cone Technology produces Burner ball speed and distance. Superfast technology uses light shafts and grips to promote a faster swing speed and more yardage.

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 Very nice set of irons. I am a high handicap golfer that has golfed with hand me down sets. I finally took the plunge on a set of my own and am very happy. Very forgiving irons, and I am playing the parts of the course I pay for now. I have recommended the set to my older brother. You know it is good if you are willing to risk a knot on your head. Outstanding sale price. Many thanks, Golfsmith. Ed Thornbrugh Prosser Washington April 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Irons and awesome price Purchase these irons a year ago, and used them for about 20 rounds, I have a set of Ping G5 also, and the Burners are the same as the Pings ( to me ) . Great price as well. I put over size grips and the ball strike is the same as the Pings. I have noticed that I'm getting about 10 more yards on the 5 iron with the burner. If you are looking for a good club, and not spend a lot of money, This is the club for sure....:o) March 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the BEST beginner irons on the market! When I first hit the taylor made burner plus irons the first thing I noticed is how balanced they felt. I did notice an increase in the distance that I hit them. My average yardage increased by 15-20 yards a club. The A wedge has become my favorite club in my bag. It has proven to do more for me than my 60 degree, pitching wedge, or sand wedge combined. The price for these clubs were a steal to me and I will purchase again in the future if I ever need new clubs January 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staying Power I have owned these for 2 years now, and recommend them. Faces, soles, grooves still look good after regular use. I think the sole width is right for mid and high handicapper, as it gives you room for improvement if you are a hi cap and yet not have to replace when you get into teens. I got the itch and went to a thinner sole iron for sometime and regretted it. If you really want to give up great forgiveness b/c you always hit it dead on center and need to work it right to left, then you probably arent reading this. The stock shafts are about 1/2" longer than avg irons, that and the lower lofts take some adjusting, but I find the distance control to be consistent. They arent hybrid clunkers, yet give me great forgiveness and u still get feedback of perfect and off center hits. Dont get me wrong, it doesnt sting when you hit it off the toe. it still goes long and straight, but you can feel the difference. Some offset to curb slicing but not too agressive that better players will hit hooks. February 21, 2013
