TaylorMade 2008 Burner Fairway Wood with Graphite Shaft
2009 Hot List Item

The 2008 TaylorMade Burner Fairway Wood features Dual Crown Technology that weighs less than a typical crown. Saved weight is redistributed to give the 2008 Burner a 35% lower CG (center of gravity) than the previous Burner, promoting a higher launch and higher flight for more carry and distance. Meanwhile, the fast-looking triangular shaped head permits an even lower CG placement, making it even easier to get a solid launch.

Boasting the largest size and footprint of any TaylorMade steel fairway, the 2008 Burner Fairway has a 6% higher MOI (moment of inertia) than previous Burner fairway models for increased forgiveness on off-center hits.

The SuperFast shaft and Arrow 2 ultra-light grip each promote faster swing speed for increased distance.

Great Club for Money
Date:December 11, 2011
I got this club and it is outstanding! There is no need to spend over 200$ on a new Taylormade FW when you can buy this it goes just as far, it goes high and has a great sound and feel, If you want a great performing club without spending too much money you need to buy this it has all you need in a fairway wood dont be turned off because its from 2009! I have a 15 degree stiff flex and recommend it!

Disappointing
Date:June 30, 2011
Bought this fairway wood with a stiff shaft however after hitting it a few times I had it tested by a clubmaker only to find that the shaft didn't even meet regular shaft flex. Had to replace the shaft, so it was definitely not worth the money.
Cons: Quality, Poor Design

Great fairway wood
Date:June 30, 2011
Coming from someone who has trouble hitting their fairway woods, these are great. Much easier to hit and very forgiving. Got a 3, 5 and 7 to replace my 3 iron.
