Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Stay away from generics Bought some cheaper ones on a bid site that were horrible, these are perfect. No problems . September 22, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Needs tip support I've used the TSS3 Billy Bobs on about 3doz reshafts and haven't had a problem until I did a hitter's driver. The customer only has a 110mph swing, but he's definitely a hitter and not a swinger. That was enough to work the end of the shaft tip free. He did mention that he hit a couple heel shots, which may explain why the tip became loose. Hit the driver with a loose tip only once and a fracture will occur. You will need to use a shim to fill in the space below the ferrule and to create a good bond. I think to be safe, a shim should be used for all jobs with this product, even for juniors. I have been using the bottom portion of a #350335 ferrule for some jobs. I just snip off the stem of that ferrule and slide it below the TSS3. For hard hitters, I will start using a brass shim, as there should be less chance for the tip to move with a metal shim. Also, it might be better to use epoxies with a more hard rather than pliable consistency to minimize the chance of movement. The TSS3 is a good product, but it needs something secure the lengthy section below the ferrule. September 29, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect I have a bunch of R7 drivers and fairways that I gave up on re-shafting because I never felt confident in using the standard shims. Saw these and figured I'd give em a try. Installation was so basic I figured they wouldn' t work. Buy extras because they can get twisted out of form, but when you snug these up they are literally perfect. Final product is tight and they look like factory originals. great product July 4, 2010
Rated 1 out of 5 by non conforming ferrules I tried all three ferrules for the 335 shaft and Taylor Made R7 clubhead. none of them are the right product. However I was able to compromise and make the TSS3 work. It would not fit fully in the hosel. I filled in the space with cord I had for winding the old tine persimmon clubheads. it does not look good but it does the job. PS I first tried the TSS ferrule. It would not even begin to go in the hosel. My next attempt was to order the TSS3, however I somehow recieved the TSS4. I will send this mistake back to you. June 16, 2010
