Best Grip I've Used

The Golf Pride VDR is the best grip I've used, as good if not better then the corded or "new decade" grips. I put these grips on one of my iron sets and a set of the Golf Pride Multi-Compounds on another. I like both grips, but the VDR feels more comfortable and is lower in price. The grip is sticky, even when a little wet. The three depths of traction really help this to be an all around grip. Though not as firm a grip as the corded or multi-compound, it's plenty firm so you don't feel the club slipping, even on the shots with torque.

Golf pride grips and kit

Replacing the grips with the kit was far easier than I expected. This was the first time I attempted to replace my grips. So far the grips are working well.

these grips are the slippriest, most non tacky grips i"ve ever used. These grips did not function well in the humidity at all.

A good basic grip.

I have been re-griping clubs for 30 years, and this is easily one of the better grips I have used. I find this grip slightly soft at first touch, as well as pleasantly tacky. Once you apply grip pressure, it firms up more like a traditional grip. One potential negative is that they only come in one size, .600 STD. I like mid size, so I gave it 2 extra wraps (+1/32) and I am fine. Lots of colors to choose from.
All in all, I can recommend this grip without hesitation.
