XPC V9 Hybrid Head

XPC brand clubheads promise more game-improvement quality for the price, and the new V9 family delivers. The XPC V9 Hybrid Head features a slight offset for forgiveness, plus a modern bullet shape that pushes the CG low and back for easier launches, more stability and big distance.

Solid feel
Date:December 3, 2011
I built the 3 and 4 with Aero-tech steel fiber i80 shafts.
Although both the clubs and shafts are designed for lower ball flight, the ball flies rather high. Not uncontrollable but higher than I expected. Feel is solid with the Aero-tech shaft. The only problem is common with all Golfsmith woods, the quality of the paint finish is poor.
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value
Cons: Quality, Durability

perfect 200 yards club

WOW!!!
This my go to club. I can hit a staight 195-200 yds easily. I sugest a steel shaft shorter than graphite for control. And get out those 3 and 4 irons!
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Value

Excellent

I paired this with a steel 6.0 Rifle Project X shaft as an experiment. To get the correct swing weight, it turns out to be a bit shorter than my old hybrid. It is consequently easier to hit. I'm not losing any distance and the accuracy is much better than with graphite.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Good Hybrid
Date:July 29, 2010
Very good hybrid, works with my iron shaft so it acts more like my irons than the other hybrids that I have. Very easy to control and hit consistently. Looks nice at address as well.
