Srixon Z Star Tour Yellow Golf Balls

The Srixon Z Star Tour Yellow Golf Balls have pushed the limits on golf ball performance. The 2011 version of the Z-STAR lineup takes Star Performance to the next level. Star performance can be broken down into two main features: Larger cores for improved ball speed and softer covers for maximum spin around the greens. The core of the golf ball can easily be thought of as the engine of the golf ball. What is true of an engine, bigger engines equal more power, is also true of a golf ball core. Bigger cores equal more power and more power equals more ball speed. With the Z-Star Tour, Srixon has produced a premium golf ball with the largest core in the industry. To generate maximum spin around the green, a soft cover is fundamentally important. The softer the material, the more it can deform at impact and grip the face for maximum spin. With a new proprietary urethane compound, Srixon has been able to take the already-soft cover seen in past Z-Star golf balls and go even softer, leading to maximum control around the greens.The Z-Star is softer than the XV and designed for the golfer with swing speeds between 80-105 mph designed for maximum performance and a soft feel in all areas of the game.

Play a better ball!!!
Date:December 29, 2011
Ive been playing Srixon balls for the last 2 yrs and i love them. This yrs model Z Star is a tad softer with more spin than last yr but i have not lost any length with it at all. Around the greens with my Bridgestone WC wedges these balls are superb. I love flying a ball to the hole and having it stop..or with the right lie spin it back. I like the yellow ball because these old eyes of mine can follow the ball flight much easier and im usually the only one in our group that uses the yellow ball. I highly recommend these for a mid handicapper to a low one. Control an spin over distance and bounce any day:) Ive found they are just as durable as last yrs model...ive played 3 rounds with same ball with no loss in performance.

Great all around ball for good players

I love this ball,
Great flight
Awesome spin off wedge shots
Awesome spin off all iron shots
A+++ off the putter
Off the driver it just launches perfectly
Would only recommend this ball for a 10 handicap or under, Spin is exaggerated much more on the longer clubs, Witch works to your advantage if you can control it.

Excellent Balls, Very Visable
Date:May 16, 2011
I've played one round with these so far. The feel of these balls is probably the softest of any ball I've ever played, that includes the best of every line out there. I really like them. They held the greens very well, probably better than anything I've ever played. It seems like they may be a little shorter than some balls I've played, but distance isn't an issue with me. The also were very durable. I played about 14 holes with one and it was practically new looking.
They are very easy to find on the course and I liked the way they looked while standing over the ball. I bought these because I was having problems seeing the ball on certain courses. These corrected all of that. I could see me playing these all the time!

I recently bought a sleeve of yellow Srixons Z Star. I normally play the Titleist ProV1x. I was very surprised the distance and control I had with the Srixon. The ball flew longer off the tee box and stopped on a dime. I played an entire round with one ball and at the end, the ball had no visible scuffs or wear signs. I have no problems with the color and will certainly stay with this ball from now on. Try them, you will be surprised!
