Featuring Insta-Lok technology and powered by the latest SIRFStarIII chip, the Swami 3000 instantly calculates distance to the front, center and back of the green of over 19,000 pre-loaded courses. Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost perfect for the price.... I have wanted a GPS for awhile now but hesitated because of the price for the benefits it provided. The Izzo at under $100 made me decide to try one out..... and it is almost perfect. My home course is actually 3 nine hole layouts and I find that the unit will not pickout the correct course until I am actually part way down the first fairway..... and when I change courses, it must be shut down and then restarted on the first fairway of the next course. Otherwise, It appears to be accurate in estimating distance to the green even under very cloudy conditions. The power charge holds up well thru 2 full rounds of play. I have not tried to stretch that thru a third round yet tho. The small belt clip appears to be a bit flimsy and I will look for a unit to hold it while attached to the uprights of the golf cart as it is a bit inconvenient to have it in the cup holders of the cart and retrieve it when needed.....
