Ping G20 Fairway Wood

The Ping G20 Fairway Wood is for all ability levels. This club gets the ball airborne easily and adds yards with a low-deep center of gravity in the 17-4 stainless steel head by creating low spin with a much higher launch. Accuracy comes from perimeter weighting and a slightly larger face that raises the moment of inertia, ensuring a stable clubhead and faster ball velocity for maintaining distance, even on miss-hits. With a larger front-to-back and heel-to-toe, the G20 fairway wood sets up neutral at address and rotates square at impact.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic wood i just bought this and was happy with my purchase. That week I went to the range and was killing it. When u set it down the gunmetal gray head looks great. And it is easy off the deck and of the tee. It also gets the ball up in the air easy October 9, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent contact; Great driver substitution I was originally hesitant to pick up a 3W, especially after my historic ability to hit them. The G20 3W is basically a miniature-version of the G20 driver - great contact, gives you the ability to shape shots, and swings well. Both tee and fairway shots are hit well; rough shots with good lies work well too. Definitely worth picking up if you run the G20 driver, as it will give you the same feel. June 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice fairway club Hit the 4 wood in a local golf shop. Felt great, and it seemed like I was making solid contact. Took it out on the course for my first round of golf in over 3 months due to a bad back. Swung everything real slow that day, and this club still made the ball jump. I normally hit a 5 wood around 260ish with a full speed shot. This 4 was easily going 240 swinging at what felt like 3/4 speed. Nice weight, great sound, and it lines up easily. Can't wait to take this club for a spin at full speed. March 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ping G20 fairway woods easy to hit and consistent I recently replaced a Ping i20 3 wood with a G20 because the i20 was not forgiving on hits towards the toe or heal. After hitting the G20 at Golfsmith it was easy to tell that this was going to be a great improvement. After one month of loving the G20 3 wood I purchased a 7 wood as a replacement for a 20 degree hybrid. It is also easy to hit and goes about the same distance. The bigger club face provides more confidence and margin for error if the strike is not "dead on". I can also "choke down" on the shaft a couple of inches and get good loft and accuracy with the 7 wood from a decent lie in the rough. I was attracted by the appearance of the G20 fairway woods and also the reduced price. This will be in my bag for quite a while. I am 72 and my USGA is currently 5.7. I don't hit the ball as far as I did 20 years ago so that consistency is very important and the ease and confidence provided by these clubs has been a great help in this area. I think more golfers would receive more consistency and satisfaction if they would try higher lofted fairway woods instead of loading up with hybrids. The people I play with all have 2 or 3 hybrids, and they don't seem to hit them any better than a long iron or a fairway wood. I have played with a couple of scratch players lately who have replaced their hybrids with the new hybrid type irons and they are most satisfied. September 1, 2013
