Snake Eyes Python DAS Putter Head

The Snake Eyes Python DAS Putter Head is a midsized mallet-head design which moves the center of gravity behind the face and towards the perimeter of the head for a perfect pendulum motion and straighter shots on off-center putts. The dual, solid, white lines also make alignment easier to help stroke more putts into the hole. The stainless steel body allows for distribution of weight to give it a clean and rich look.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Feeling (and looking) Head Bought this just for fun, mated it to a graphite shaft and Karma grip. Feels great, looks cool, and fits my stroke well. Little worried about the shiny top line, might have to dull it a bit. November 28, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by not awesome First of all, when it strikes the ball at the center mark, the head would twist. I positioned the face of the head head on a pin to locate the balance point, it was offset from the center mark by almost a 1/4". Adding a chunk of lead on the outside of the head moved the balance point to the center mark. This helped a lot when putting. It also tells you when your ball strike is not centered. When I twist the shaft around it seems that the moment of inertia is "light", I don't have a way to measure this but compared to other similar putters is does not seem the same. I am going to try to improve the moment of inertia with some more chunks of lead at the outside edges. The shiny top surface is a pain when the sun is out - I can't imagine using this in places with a lot of sun. October 3, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Light, but good feel. I added a couple strips of lead tape to this putter head it to make it work for me as a belly putter. I initially found the reflective / shiny finish to be distracting on sunny days, but that doesn't happen too often in Seattle, and should diminish with use. For the price it is a good value. Rated 4 out of 5 by Progression provided good results From a blade to a half mallet (Snake Eyes Strikeline HMOI.3) to a full mallet - this DAS. I hooked it up to a spare TT Rocket shaft I had lying around. The whole rig feels much lighter than the other two but like any new putter it takes some getting used to. And guess what - I'm getting it to the hole now. No more, "One more turn - PLEASE!." September 3, 2012
