The breakthrough Velocity Slot Technology improves both center-hit distance and forgiveness across the face. This patent-pending technology allows COR (coefficient of restitution or spring-like effect) advances on fairway woods similar to those that have become the performance standard on drivers. The result is a dramatically easy-to-hit fairway wood with increased ball speeds on center hits.

this is easily the best 3-wood i have hit. it's so easy to get it up in the air, it's ridiculous. it's easy to hit off the tee, but even better off the fairway. that has always been one of my biggest problems, getting a 3-wood that is easy to hit off the fairway, but i got it now. great job adams

This club is deep. Three years in a row Adams has improved distance on fairway woods. The creation of velocity slot technology allows for a greater trampoline effect.
Every once in a while a club comes along that changes the game. This club was a game changer. Other manufacturers are going to be forced to copy Adams or they will lose the distance battle. Taylor Made borrowed a page from the Adams playbook this year with the new RBZ which they advertise as 14 yards further than last year... it is just catching up to Adams velocity slot technology.
I can't wait until the new Adams fairway comes out, it's going into my bag this year. I had a chance to hit it recently and it's even longer than last year.
Kudos to Adams for the amazing trailblazing innovation that will be copied by most manufacturers.

UNBELIEVABLE CLUB!

I bought the Adams 5 wood two months ago and it is by far my favorite club in my bag! I am a 12 handicap and I wanted a 225 yard club that produces height. This club gives me the height, but I never thought it would produce this length. It has replaced my 3 wood because I hit is consistantly 245 yards. If you can't hit this club, you can't hit anything!
