TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood

The TaylorMade R11 Fairway Wood is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 drivers and woods in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable fairway wood. This club promotes up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. It has a new deeper face and deeper center of gravity, which produces a more penetrating flight. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse.

Additional Features:

  • Shaft: Fujikura Blur 70
  • Adjust the loft with Flight Control Technology (FCT)
  • Adjust the face angle with the new Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP)

Great club
Date:August 15, 2011
Picked up a 3 wood version of this 2 months ago. I had been struggling reaching par 5s in 2 with out a 3 wood in my bag. My 3 iron did not have the distance so I went out and tried out a handful of woods. I tried the G15, Superfast, 910F and the R11. It came down to the G15 and R11. After playing with the settings on the R11 I was hitting nice solid shots and the feel was great, enough to justify the extra money over the G15, this was a tough call. 2 weeks after picking it up I got my first eagle putt on a 516 yard par 5. The clubs is very predictable in flight and distance, slight left to right(5 yards) and 230 yards of carry. Great addition to my bag.

The Best!
Date:March 15, 2012
I am a bit of a club junky. I have tried every major club company's fairway wood and have been fitted 3 times. The R11 3 wood is bar non the most forgiving fairway wood I have ever owned. Being able to adjust for your swing is such an advantage. I played yesterday and hit 12 out of 13 fairways. I couldn't even do that with a wedge. Can't wait to by the 5 wood.
Pros: Durability, Features, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Absolutely Awesome!!!
Date:August 7, 2011
I bought a TM Superfast 3 wood and played it for a couple of weeks but I kept hooking it. I had no confidence that it would go to my target. It was plenty long but I could not control it. I took the Superfast back and used the Golfsmith 30 day playability guarantee and got 90% of the original purchase price. I applied the money to the TM R11 3 wood... WOW what a difference. I am reaching par 5's in 2 shots now where it used to take me 3. My R11 is accurate, I can work it and it is long. I have total confidence now that I will hit my 3 wood and it will go where I want it to. This 3 wood is well woth the money... It is the best 3 wood I have ever owned. I highly recommend the Taylormade R11 3 wood... it is ans "Absolutely Awesome" golf club.

Really like the 3 Wood
Date:August 6, 2011
I picked up the 3 wood, in 15.5 degree. So far I am really loving it. I set it to open as I have a tendency to draw it to the point of calling it a duck hook.
I can shape the ball from this sitting more as I want to, rather than having to really work to not hit a draw. I hit this club about as long as the Titlest I gave up, but with the workability I can hit it anywhere from 230-260 yards. I don't lose much hitting it from the fairway compared to a tee. I don't see much need to buy a replacement for a while with this stick, as I don't know how or what more I can really get out of a new club.
The white head makes no difference for me, there was no "adjustment" needed. The only issue is knowing my limitations with this club.
