TaylorMade R11 TP Fairway Wood

The TaylorMade R11 TP Fairway Wood is the latest and greatest from the makers of the No.1 drivers and woods in golf. It has new technology, like an adjustable sole that can adjust the face angle of the club, as well as the ability to adjust the launch angle, making it a truly adjustable fairway wood. This club promotes up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and 1,000 RPM backspin change, giving you consistent power and distance. It has a new deeper face and deeper center of gravity, which produces a more penetrating flight. The white non-glare crown and black clubface (which provides easy alignment) will improve your game and that sleek white finish will make you the center of attention on the course and in the clubhouse. The "TP" version is designed for more experienced players.

Additional Features:

  • Shaft: Fujikura Motore F3
  • Grip: TaylorMade 360
  • Adjust the loft with Flight Control Technology (FCT)
  • Adjust the face angle with the new Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP)

3 wood sole is wearing poorly
Date:September 20, 2011
For some reason, the sole of the R11 TP 15.5 is wearing very poorly and scratched much more than expected.
I have never hit it off a bad lie. A 3 wood is a challenge for me from a good lie :P
I have had the club only a few months. It is the least used club in my bag, off of range mats, tees and only a few times on short par 5's.
I have the R11 rescue TP in 18 and 21 degrees, and I have the burner superfast 2.0 TP 5-wood. I am not experiencing anywhere near the scratching on the 15.5 fairway wood. I put these clubs into play during every round, and from poor lies.
The white is fine, but the scratched sole is a huge disappointment.
will not buy again. perhaps superfast 2.0 TP 15 degree, but not r11 fairway wood

20 years of golf.... best fairway wood ever
Date:July 7, 2011
I purchased the 4 wood this year after playing the Callaway warbird for years. This club is a true grip it and rip it performer. The 80 gram shaft is stout and not for the faint of heart, but it lets you to take dead aim with confidence.
Pros: Features, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value, Durability
