TaylorMade R11 Ti Fairway Wood

The TaylorMade R11 Ti Fairway Wood offers more adjustability for more distance. You can adjust the face angle with new Adjustable Sole Plate Technology (ASP) and you can adjust the loft with Flight Control Technology (FCT). These technologies promote up to 60 yards of side-to-side trajectory change and a 1,000 RPM backspin change. A new aerodynamic shape promotes faster speed for more distance and the deeper face and front center of gravity deliver more penetrating flight. The club is fininished off with a white non-glare crown and black clubface, which creates easy alignment.

Additional Features:

  • Shaft: Fujikura Blur 60

ADDING 20 YRDS OF DISTANCE!
Date:December 26, 2011
i am almost 15 years old and a 10 handicap. i got this r11 Ti 3 wood, stiff, for xmas. i took it to the range and got my shots measured by computer and i hit this and compared it to my old r9 3 wood. on average, i hit the r9 3 wood 190 yds. for the r11, i hit it on average, 210yds. its really hot off the face and can definitely help rack up more distance. i would definitely recommend this to any golf at any skill.

White is the new white

I join the white party and bought the R11 Ti 3-wood. I'm hesitant of titanium fairway woods b/c the balance has been off with previous models. I've had the R5, CGBmax, Rapture, MP Ti, Big Bertha Ti, BBII Ti, Insight BUL, etc; and while some provided good distance none felt natural throughout the swing. The R11 looks like a cool toy at the Mac store. The matte white color helps boost confidence and doesn't look abnormal. The clubhead is somewhat shallow and doesn't look bulky. This is a 3w that can be hit off a tee and from the deck with ease. The best feature is the sound and feel, soft and solid sensation with pleasant auditory feedback. This club is draw weighted, and I had to set the face to Open to fit my swing. The only drawback is the weak shaft. I will change shafts in the future. Even the headcover feels good.

I dont know why this hasnt been reviewed yet , I mean everyone was dying for it to come out and still nothing . I will go first . Its long , its hotter than the steel version , its slightly bigger than the steel version but it is still sized right .
I was concerned about not having a 4 wood (my crutch) , so I sucked it up and got the 3 wood , not disappointed , at all . Set it on the higher loft (16*) , and went out and played with it . GREAT CLUB . This will be their best club in many years , its mine for sure .
I had a drive on onehole that totally screwed my chances for being on in 2 . Par 4 , 445 yards , drive went 210 . So I decided I was going to go after it and hope I clear the water in front of the green , about 215 out . To my joy I was about 15 foot from the cup . This club is a definite go to club when the driver isnt behaving . I cant say enough about this fairway wood . LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG .
Go try one .
