Strengthening the already successful JPX iron line, Mizuno introduces the JPX-800HD Combo Iron Set. This new iron set utilizes the distance-generating JPX technologies of Hot Metal and MAX COR to deliver the explosive distance that all players crave. Maximum forgiveness and an easy, high launch and ball flight are achieved through an innovative set make up which includes Mizuno's new Hybrid DLR (Direct Long iron Replacement), the JPX FLI-HI, in the #4 and #5. These Hybrid DLR's are combined with the lowest and deepest COG (Center Of Gravity)iron design ever in the #6-GW, to create a set make-up that will help players succeed more often on the golf course. In addition, to better match the miss-hit pattern of super game-improvement players, the JPX-800HD irons feature strategic low-heel, high-toe weighting to deliver the largest effective sweet area ever. These irons will help you hit the ball farther, straighter, and higher so that you score better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Boy, oh Boy!!! After reading tons of reviews, I decided to go down to the Golfsmith in Birmingham, AL and get fitted for these. These clubs are very forgiving and really easy to hit (just like most of the reviews mentioned). I'm a pretty big guy with a high swing speed, so the steel shafts only made sense. I've noticed a 20-30 yard increase in distance, and I seem to be getting a lot more air on my PW shots. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for instant game improvement. Special thanks to the crew at the Birmingham, AL Golfsmith for getting me fitted for this AWESOME set of clubs. August 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Don't buy anything else I just got these clubs last week and love them. I had them fitted and im getting more distance than the RBZ which I gave to my brother. These clubs are so easy to hit that I've become a Mizuno fan for life. I don't hit the ball very far with my irons and for the first time I hit my 8 iron 140yds. This is the first time I write a review for any product but I think if you try these clubs you will not leave the store without them. Golf is hard enough anyways these clubs will help. May 5, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love I must say, I wasn't going into Golfsmith's Northern Virginia store to buy these clubs. I was actually look at some older model TaylorMade (Burner Irons) set to save money. I tried them out and loved them. But then, the smooth sales guy said: "Hey, I bet you can add at least 10 yards to your irons with the JPX-800's. I didn't believe him. But, he conveniently had a 6-iron in the demo section near the back. First couple of swings, and I was in love!!! I was hitting my 6 about 20-30 yards farther. I used to hit my 6 150. Now, I hit my JPX-800 6-Iron about 175. These clubs are worth every penny. The only negative comment i have, is they are heavy. I'll probably get them reshafted with Graphite. LOVE! December 9, 2011
