Undecided what ball to play before I was leaving to play 6 rounds in 4 days(since I was loosing most of whatever ball I was playing (mostly $20 and up balls), I decided to go back to a ball I had played when I started playing this game(15 years). I can say I was NOT disappointed by the performance of this ball-great distance off the tee, rolled-out well on the fairway, approach shots and green side chips and pitches were not anything more or less than some of the high-end 2-piece balls(Callaway, TaylorMade) I had been playing. Went to Golfsmith, bought a box of the Golds, and I can say I was glad that i did. I am still about a 20+ handicapper after all these years, but I gotta say, I only lost 4 balls in 6 rounds,(mostly in rough you couldn't run a mower through), and I still slice a few off the tee, I was in the fairway a lot more often, and distance kept up with my playing partner(DT Solo). This ball has nice manners on the green-it checked well when struck correctly, but run-out was an issue, but I planned for it when I had enough green to play to the hole. So if your on a budget, and still loose a few a round, this is THE BALL!! THIS IS MY BALL!!! September 12, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by brendank Unbelievable Value I used to play the Titleist Pro V1, but that changed when my Grandfather let me use a couple of these when I forgot to bring a sleeve of my normal ball. I was amazed at the feel and distance, and spin around the greens. What really surprised me was the price, these will save me some money :-). May 16, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by ccastval Great ball in feeling, quality and for the price!! I usually play with 3 layer ball but I let them a try and the result was awesome. I made a 310-yard with my driver and the ball stopped on the green easily. I recommend the ball to every player who is looking for a good quality ball at a reasonably price. May 6, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shake really good for price i usually play bridge stone or titleist golf balls, but needed some cheap on the fly. i bought these and they did the same as my bridge stone and titleist balls do. i was getting the same distance and backspin. you can get 45 golf balls for the price of 12 prov1(x) and they both will do the same thing March 25, 2012
