Cleveland Golf's new 588 Forged Satin CC Wedge maintains the popular, tour-proven shape of its predecessor with a series of technological breakthroughs to provide even more performance benefits for experienced players. Every wedge is formed from 1025 carbon steel for an incredibly soft, solid feel and the highest level of manufacturing consistency for supreme confidence and trust over every shot. Tour Zip grooves and Laser Milled technology maximize spin in accordance with USGA regulations. Exclusive to the 588 wedge is the Tour Concept Wedge steel shaft, co-developed and engineered by Cleveland Golf and industry leader True Temper. Rated 5 out of 5 by subpar59 Cleveland REG.588...Best wedges on the market! I played the old 588 wedges in high school and college. Played many different brands since, latest being the SM4 Vokeys. The new 588 wedges are super solid, with a sharper lead edge and thinner top line than most on the market. Definately a players club! I have the 52/8 and 56/10. February 26, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by jonnyibar Excellent clubs I bought the 52, 56 and 60 degree 588 wedges. I've never had anything more than a 56 degree in my bag. They are extremely soft and give you a lot of feedback. They cut through the rough, dirt, and sand like butter. The head has a great shape, design and feel, which makes it an easy club to swing and make solid contact. I've hit them on the range and on the course a couple of times. Its been pretty wet around here lately, so hard to get a good read on the spin. Overall, the 588 is a great club. September 4, 2012
