With a sleek and striking look, the Cleveland CG Black 265 Driver weighs no more than 265 grams, making it the lightest driver on the market to help players generate measurable increases in swing speed and distance with the same swing effort. The advanced aerodynamics found in the driver's Speed Crown design – an innovative, teardrop-inspired crown profile – maximize distance by reducing drag at all angles of airflow during the swing. MaxCOR2 Variable Face Thickness technology reduces face weight and increases trampoline effect on off-center hits, meaning higher ball speed and more distance on off-center hits. Rated 5 out of 5 by birdies1 Best driver I have hit in 50 years Excellant feel, long carry, long roll out. This club is longer and straighter than my current Cleveland XL 270. Easy to hit and feels like its super charged. I just want to keep bombing it. At 73 years old, makes me feel young again. December 22, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by HawaiiGolf Head to Head Test against the Ping G20 Local Golf Course had a Demo Day. Reps from, Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Nike, Titlelist and Cleveland were in attendance. I test drove all of the Drivers and was surprised by the Cleveland Black. Head to Head Test: Ping G20 9.5 vs. Cleveland Black 9. Hit 6 shots on each Driver Results: Both Clubs are very consistent in Pattern. However, the Cleveland Black was longer. Pros: If you have an Average or Slower Swing Speed - The Black is a match made in heaven. Both are very forgiving. Both have ultra lite, to Super Ultra Lite Shafts. Cons: Price - The Black is expensive Overall: Loved the look and feel of the Black. The price tag might be a turn off for some. June 1, 2012

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chelle Looks good - but does it deliver? I purchased the Cleveland CG 265 last week. I currently own a Cleveland Launcher driver and love the club. My intent was to plus up with the new model. I played a round with the CG 265 along with my Cleveland Launcher hole for hole last week: 14 driving holes. My Cleveland Launcher Driver consistently out distanced the CG 265 by 10-15 yards. The CG 265 is a beautiful driver, but the new shiny black driver is all show and no go. November 29, 2011
