I recently picked this driver up while I was at the State Championships. I never really cared for nike clubs, but i figured while I was at Golfsmith I would give it a try. Man was this club a rocket. I have had a Titleist 906f4 for years and have not been able to get rid of it, but I fell in love with the VR_S as soon as I hit it. The slightly larger head helps with the confidence in the club and the Fubuki shaft gives a nice whippy feel that I like in a fairway. I would recommend this club to golfers of all levels. A must buy!!!!!

Very Nice Fairway Wood!

I got fitted for a fairway wood at Golfsmith and I hit the Rocket Ballz, Ping i20 and G20, Callaway Razar fit and Nike Vrs. The monitors showed that I consistently hit the 3W between 260yd - 280yd.
Since I put it in my bag I have had at least one eagle opportunity per round.
Also, I can shape shots well with this club and hit it almost as far as my driver.
Before I got this club I only broke 80 once.
I have now broken 80 three times since February 20, 2012.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

One of the best on market

I am a huge fairway wood fan. The reason for this is because I can't hit a driver to save my life, so I use my 3 wood off the tee. I currently use the Nike Limited Edition 3w in a stiff. I hit it long and straight. I went to Golfsmith on Friday to hit the new Nike VRs 3 wood and well let's just say it's one of the best on the market. I was not able to hit it outside but on the monitors I was able to consistency put the ball 240-250. I was able to work the ball left to right and also right to left. The sound had an amazing ping sound when the ball connected to the face. If you mishit the ball the you'll get the forgiveness most mid to high handicap players are looking for but even a low handicap player will appreciate this club. The ONLY reason I did not pick this club up is because I hit my current Nike between 260-270. I am looking at the 5w of the VRs as a possible club for the bag but if your looking for a great fairway wood then take a look at this club. BTW I am a 18 handicap.
