Best Wedge from Golfsmith Yet
Date:May 21, 2012
I've built many wedges from GS in the past. This one takes the #1 prize. It's easy to hit, performs great and the new USGA grooves aren't even noticeable. The wedges work great around the green and for full shots. I shafted them up with FST Pro 115 Stepless shafts, which makes for a deadly combination. I like especially how they play from tight lights. My most recent wedges before this were the 685BX,. They had a wider sole width, with the SW listed at 31.3 mm. Sometimes I would hit a full shot a little thin. Not so with the 695's. I can't remember hitting the ball more pure. I'm going to buy another set of heads to keep with my set of clubs that I leave at our condo in Florida.
Pros: Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value
