Snake Eyes Quick Strike Q5 Hybrid Head

The fifth generation of Snake Eyes Quick Strike utility woods, the Q5 Hybrid Head is ideal for any player struggling with the long irons. The compact head design with a slight amount of offset to the hosel is especially helpful for those players who tend to push or slice the ball. The Q5 incorporates two perimeter weight ports that concentrate weight around the back of the head which aids in stabilizing the head and provides for a higher trajectory. The head features a concave sole design to help reduce surface friction over a wide variety of turf conditions and allows the clubhead to cut through the turf and light rough easily for cleaner contact with the ball.

Rated 3 out of 5 by If Only I had a shaft to fit it Maybe three times is a charm but now I have two shafts that are 335 hosel size and a hybrid head that is 370. I have been buying from Golfsmith for many years and this is unusal to have this happen but then, I will order another Viper 3 wd head and use the second shaft and maybe send this head back. Rated 5 out of 5 by Where has it been? I just assembled this Snake Eyes 27 degree hybrid head, using a UST Mamiya Proforce V2 graphite shaft. Performance is outstanding. I can hit this hybrid higher than my six iron. And it spins and stops with little roll. I have been using the other Snake Eyes hybrids for several years. This is a long overdue addition for us "senior" golfers. April 16, 2013
