The Snake Eyes Python XLD2 Irons offer wide soles that place more weight low in the head – especially in the long irons – making them easier to hit with higher launch angles. A deep undercut cavity keeps the center of gravity low and back from the face creating extremely solid feel at impact. The entire Python XLD2 family has the innovative Hosel Weight Port System which provides clubmakers with a clean, professional method for adding and customizing swingweight in golf clubs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Snake Eyes Python XLD2 Iron Heads I have been trying to order a set of these heads for quite sometime, yet Golfsmith and their manufacturers can't seen to get them into the store. However, I was able to build a 4 and AW. Paired them with Apollo Stepless shafts (reg. flex). Outstanding distance. Not as easy to hit as I thought they would be. Soles are wider than I would like, especially on the AW. However, AW is getting more likable the more I use it. April 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great heads for the price! Just put together a set for my teenage son with these heads. He's hitting the ball great and I didn't have to put out a lot of money. A friend of mine tried the clubs as well and was amazed at how well they hit. He said he was getting more distance than his Ping irons. March 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Irons! My son had these irons fitted and loves them. As a 14 yr old HS player, his first goal was making the team. These irons provided the ability to increase his length by one club and now he knows his yardage much more precisely. He hits A - 4 iron in the tight lies python XLD2 combined with the lightest True Temper steel shaft. Better check to make sure all heads are available when ordering- we did have a backorder hastle...
