Rated 5 out of 5 by Lost my 58 Five years ago I tried an 58 F2 wedge. Several trips to the pitching green and I became a convert and purchased one. Last week I lost my wedge when I hurried off the course for an approaching thunderstorm. Two days later I needed my trusty wedge and it was not in the bag. No one has turned it in to the pro-shop a week later. Hope his/her score is 5 strokes better for "owning" it now, because mine is lower by that amount. But buying a new one is somehow cathartic. Rated 5 out of 5 by F2 Face Forward lob wedge I was looking to replace my 64 degree Caloway lob wedge, as I just couldn't seem to produce those high lob shots I need. The course I play in Tucson, AZ has elivated greens on all 18 holes. If you're not on but close, you need a good lob wedge. I was courious about the face forward F2 wedges. Of course on their web site the reviews are all pretty much very positive. I purchased the 60 degree lob wedge, steel shaft ( I feel I have better control with steel but only in my gap and lob wedges). Now for the review: Some say it's heavy and ugly. I see nothing wierd or ugly about it. HeavyER yes, but that just gives me added confidence that I will get under the ball, and not scull it or hit it fat. I love this wedge. It performs as advertised. If I were not happy with the rest of my short irons, I'd replace them all with the other F2 wedges, Sand, Gap And 64 degree Super Lob. I am a 53 year old female, with a high handy cap. I am now looking forward to lowering that handycap with this wedge which never fails to land the ball and stick it on the green. Forgot to mention the great ball spin this club delivers. July 26, 2012
