Bushnell White Medalist Laser Rangefinder with PinSeeker Technology

With its sleek, horizontal profile, the Bushnell White Medalist Laser Rangefinder is about two things: lower scores and Pinseeker technology. Quick and natural to the eye, the White Medalist acquires flags tucked in the deepest corners of the green, despite background clutter that befuddles lesser rangefinders. Wherever evil lurks anywhere on the course, the White Medalist with Pinseeker provides you with the information you want to make the shot you need. Bushnell is hands down the #1 choice of PGA Tour Players and Caddies.

Additional features:

  • Emits invisible, eye-safe, infrared energy pulses that are reflected off a selected target back to the receiving optics. Sophisticated circuitry and a high speed clock are used to instantaneously calculate distances
  • Measure distances instantly and accurately to within one yard
  • 4x monocular helps to reduce shakiness
  • Range: 5-1000 yards/meters
  • 250+ yards to a flag
  • Pinseeker mode zeros in on flag
  • Weather resistant
  • Carry case and 9-volt battery included

Rated 2.6 out of 5 by 8 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Never confident in the yardage I own the same model rangefinder from about 4 years ago and it works great. Gave it to my kid who is now allowed to use it for high school golf. Thought I would buy the same model since I love the old one. Well, this one didn't work nearly as good. Many times it would give me the yardage to whatever was in the background and not pick up the flag easily like the old model. I lost so much confidence that I would look at the yardage markers just to see if it was in the ballpark before I would hit y shot. I'm sending it back as I can't keep a product I have no confidence in. September 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Medalist is a fine Rangefinder I had my wife buy this Bushnell Medalist rangefinder for me about 5 years ago. I have used it likely over 200 rounds of golf and gone through about 10 batteries. I have had no issues with the unit other than the battery door is not robust (as others noted, when unit is bumped, it falls off). It did take some practice to hit targets. You can't just shoot at the pin/stick, you have to hit the flag (unless the pin has the mirrors/prisms built in). What I do is aim at the front of the green a mound behind, and then the pin, I calibrate to make sure the reading is accurate. I would not be as good of a golfer as I am without a rangefinder (I have ranged from a 4-7 handicap). I prefer the rangefinder to the GPS because I want to know exact distances. I shoot bunkers/lips, trees, OB, edge of water, and of course pins. Bushnell makes good stuff. This unit has been well worth the money I paid for it new. I would recommend this unit and buy it again. I did notice when I give it to others to borrow to shoot a distance, some have a lack of precision in shooting with it. They can't keep it still. That might be the case with all rangefinders. I practiced with it in the house, yard, store ... see if it works for you before buying. August 27, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful Please do not purchase this product. Mine has drained batteries from Day 1 of owning it. I've sent it back to Bushnell twice (within warranty). The first time they sent me a note on how to properly remove a battery (are you kidding me?). The second time, after trying it again and having it again drain batteries within 30 minutes of putting a new one in, they sent it back to me saying they can't replicate the problem in their lab. They did also include a discount code for 30-40% off a new one! but "No thanks!"...no more Bushnell products for me!!! July 15, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Met my expectations, not durable I used this rangefinder for one year. And, it worked well. For a simple point and shoot range finder, this product met my expectations. The 9V battery lasted about one year while being used multiple rounds per week. However, it is not durable. The battery door was constantly falling off, and the range finder was completely broken after falling out of my cart once and hitting the ground. April 17, 2014
