Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 49 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Better than expected! I purchased this particular GPS because it came fully loaded with 2500 courses -no need to download those courses you want to play, beause it was said to have ~15 hour battery life and it got good reviews on Golfsmith. This little gadget is packed with nice features, is a great compact size with an easy to see screen even in bright sunlight, and is very user friendly. I have not needed to refer to the online manual yet, because it's so intuitive. The battery lasts for 1-2 full 18 hole rounds depending on the number of features used. This GPS keeps score for 4 players, can measure the distance of each shot and the club you used for the shot. It keeps track of the average distance you hit with each club in your bag. It gives you distances to various points on the fairways and distances to the front and back of the green and to the pin. You can move the pin placement with a tap on the screen for increased accuracy. So far I've been very satisfied with it. I would absolutely recommend it to friends. The battery life could be longer, and it would helpful if it came with, or had available for purchase, a golf cart mounting device. September 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best GPS ever I have owned many GPS systems. In my opinion the G6 is by far the best. It is small enough to put in your pocket and a and still have a screen that is readable. The convenience of not needing to download courses and not having a membership fee is certainly a big plus. I should have gone to Garmin a long time ago, their devices are hassle free and you don't need to be on hold with customer service just to set it up. Just turn it on and click on the course you are at and play golf. I love it. February 21, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by G6 vs G5 I've owned a G5 since it was first introduced. I liked it, but I also like to keep up with the newer technology. Bought the G6 because it was on sale. G7 and G8 were already released but I didn't want to spend that much. This G6 is pretty tiny! I have a hard time tapping the correct spot on my screen. The holder is now a clip and doesn't seem as secure as the G5. Like: Rechargeable Battery, walked 18 and kept 4 players scores and only used 30% of the charge, this one finds the satellite faster and is very accurate, screen is clear and easier to see in bright sun, scoring format options with handicapping is useful but not optimal, gives you a recap of the round including elapsed time and distance walked. Dislike: Screen is 1/2 size of my phone making it tough to tap. Still can't download round information to a spreadsheet?! (If you're going to take the time during the round to keep stats, why can't I analyze them in a format of my choosing and see the rounds side by side?) The holder scares me, like it's going to release the unit at any time and I'm going to lose it, and this thing being so small, you won't know it until you reach for it on your next shot! All in all, it's not bad. I've only owned it for two weeks and put 5 rounds on it. I do like how I can car-charge it and not have to drag batteries with me and I'm less likely now to have my GPS die in the middle of a round! I find, with these type of golf GPS, that I just end up using it to get a yardage to the green or hazards from wherever I am. All that scoring stuff is neat, but distracting. April 16, 2015
