The Ping i20 Iron Set is multi-metal iron set that offers optimized performance through progressive set design. The forgiving, high-launching long irons blend into more-penetrating mid- and –short irons, offering control for precise shot making. A dense tungsten toe weight provides forgiveness across the face for accurate results as well as a high-launch, low-spin trajectory. Distance control and a solid feel come from a thicker hitting area and stabilizing bars in the cavity and a low moment of inertia about the shaft axis gives golfers the ability to shape shots with confidence. The set is finished off with a non-glare chrome finish and black-and-silver color scheme, offering a players’-style contemporary look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by An Awsome Iron!! I bought the G15's about two years ago when they first came out and I hit them good but the tihck sole gave me problems at times. I ran into the Ping guy at a store and I tried these irons and they are simply the best irons I have ever hit. I have never hit a Ping iron that had the feel of these. I also found out -- during my fitting -- that my clubs were too long and too upright even though I had them custom fitted at the Ping factory here in Phoenix. These are the longest clubs I have ever hit, and they look good also. I recomment you try them but getting customed fit before you buy is very important and will pay benefits on the course. Rated 5 out of 5 by Better and Better Having purchased the G20 and not being happy with them, I was reluctant to even try the i20. A hitting session at a Golfsmith store convinced me that the i20 was made for my swing. I found the G20 to have too much offset and a wide sole that gave me problems while the i20 had less offset and a much narrower sole. After the session in the monitor, I ordered a set to my specifications which is something every golfer should do. Paying $800 for a set off the rack does not make good sense to me. The clubs arrived in less that two weeks and I played with them today. Everything I felt in the monitor was similar outside. Conditions aren't the best right now with thin grass and wet fairways, but I generally struck the ball well. I was pleased with the distance and the ball flight - particularly the 5 and 6 iron which were very easy to get high in the air. They had very much the feel of a forged club and are very attractive. My compliments to Ping for a job well done. March 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Heads above the Rest..... I have played forged blades for the last 25 years and after reading all the reviews on these irons I decided to try em out. I am sure glad I did. They are a players iron with Game Improvement forgiveness, not to mention they are longer than anything I have hit before. Way to bring back a phenomonal shaft PING, AWESOME IRONS!!!
