The Ping i20 Driver has an aerodynamic 460cc head that is an especially good fit for golfers who rely on a low-spin, penetrating trajectory to maximize distance, accuracy, and workability. Two dense tungsten sole weights in the Ti 8-1-1 head elevate the moment of intertia for forgiveness across the clubface and they position the center of gravity for optimal launch conditions. Golfers with moderate swing speeds can also improve their launch conditions for greater distance and accuracy and the lower moment of intertia about the shaft axis gives the golfer complete command of the face at impact for shaping shots. The i20 is finished off with a striking matte-black finish that absorbs light to eliminate glare and reflections.

Rated 5 out of 5 Love these woods These clubs were recommended by our pro.They immediately added 20 yards . Thhe hardestt part of using them was realizing I did not have to correct for my slice.. In fact I now draw the ball. They are light and easy to use. I'll be sticking with them for some time. July 29, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Straight and Deep As a single digit handicap player I was looking for a more forgiving driver to keep me in the fairways. This was my biggest problem the last few years having to take penalty drops every 3 or four holes. I was looking for more accuracy or consistency along with consistent distance. My driver the last 8 years or so was a Titleist 975J and I was having major issues keeping the ball in play the last few years. Went and hit several models from different manufacturers and the I20 was the most consistent by far for me. I also liked the g20 but it faded right on me to much no mater what shaft was used. Tried both the stock shafts, the project x did not work for me at all but I will say I only hit the 6 and the 6.5 since my swing speed is 105-110. The ping shaft in stiff is what I ended up buying and it is great. It hits a bit lower because of its weight but this to me is a good thing. This club sits a hair open at address and this is good for me because my misses were usually left and often a pull. I have played 2 rounds of 18 and have hit 75 percent of my fairways and the misses are barely in light rough. The distance is similar to my old 975j but its the accuracy that matters the most. IMHO, If more golfers looked at it this way instead of thinking distance than the game would be more manageable for them. FINAL THOUGHTS: Not the longest Driver I hit at the range but within 5 yards I would say. Hits draws and fades if needed but mostly straight and forgiving. Love the stock Ping shaft but hit them both and decide for yourself. Love the consistency in playing from the fairways. Like the look of the club and the head cover. Great club for mid to scratch golfers and is forgiving and long. Also picked up the fairway 3 wood and its awesome! I love heading to the tee box again with 100% confidence. The best driver out of 10 that I demoed over half dozen visits to the range. Thank You Ping. Keep up the good work. April 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ping i20 - Very Satisfied Excellent driver. Was looking to get something new and move out of my Superfast 2.0. Wanted a lower trajectory and more roll. Tried Cobra Amp Cell, RBZ and RBZ Stage 2, R1 and Adams. Then found the Ping i20........ After a range session with a demo I was sold. Clubs looks simply fantastic and is a pleasure to hit. I am getting about 15-20 more yards mostly from additional roll due to a better landing angle/trajectory. Thanks Ping and thanks Golfsmith! March 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ping makes the best drivers period! Put a 45" Ping driver in my hands (with some practice) and I turn into a decent golfer. I made a mistake years ago by selling my Ping G 15 driver. For no logical reason I decided to try some different drivers out. I was hitting houses, cars, pets, trees, lakes and even a play house where small children were present. My magic driving mojo was gone. I finally decided to go back to where my success had begun. I wanted a driver that would produce a low to medium draw. Reviews indicated my match would be the Ping I20 driver. Wow were they right. I have played multiple rounds and can only remember hitting maybe three balls out of bounds, one a slice and two were hooks. Everything else has been cannon shots to the middle or left part of the fairway. The club just does not want to go right. The children are safe again. I have my driver mojo back and will never switch again, unless it is another Ping driver. March 4, 2013
