Ping i20 Driver

The Ping i20 Driver has an aerodynamic 460cc head that is an especially good fit for golfers who rely on a low-spin, penetrating trajectory to maximize distance, accuracy, and workability. Two dense tungsten sole weights in the Ti 8-1-1 head elevate the moment of intertia for forgiveness across the clubface and they position the center of gravity for optimal launch conditions. Golfers with moderate swing speeds can also improve their launch conditions for greater distance and accuracy and the lower moment of intertia about the shaft axis gives the golfer complete command of the face at impact for shaping shots. The i20 is finished off with a striking matte-black finish that absorbs light to eliminate glare and reflections.

I20 Driver Believer
Date:May 22, 2012
I have tried several drivers from various manufacturers the last couple of years and have to say this is the best one of them all. I was reluctant to even try this club initially because of being a mid-handicapper and did not think it would work well for me. But, since I have been fighting a semi-hook for sometime now thought why not try it. Anyway, bought the 10.5 with the Project X 5.5 shaft. Well, I am very happy that I made the purchase. The semi-hook is gone and replaced with mostly a straight shot or a slight draw. Wonderful. The club has a low amount of spin and just the right amount of launch angle to suit me. I get a drive with very little to no side spin, get quite a bit of roll and a lot of consistent shots. Love it.

Best driver for the price
Date:May 16, 2012
After purchasing this driver, I would have to sy that it is the best driver I have ever hit. It is accurate and I can drive the ball very long and straight. I bought a 8.5 degree and hit it about 295 to 315 Yards. I have a 2 handicap and cannot complain at all about the performance of this driver. Hands down best driver I have ever hit. Definitely a must have.

This fixed my (bad)slices
Date:May 10, 2012
I've been trying to graduate from the the range. Coming from hand me down clubs, this club really impressed me. I was trying to learn with a Titleist 905 10.5 with a very flexible shaft (Slice city#. Took a few weeks to get to a place that I can try this at. The next day I pulled the trigger and ordered it #10.5 with 707 stiff shaft#. First day on the range I was very impressed and only took a few swings. I went again the next day and decided to go through a large bucket to see what kind of consistency I can get out of the club. After the first 10-15 swings with no slices, I was in disbelief. After 1/2 of the bucket gone, I got daring and decided to try to shape my hits #wow + big permanent grin#. over all I had 1 bad slice #due to some bad footing cause I had my work shoes on#, 2 not so bad hooks. 20-30 mild slice/hook 20-30 yards from center #for a beginner these are great shots for me# and the rest of the shots were dead on give or take 5-10 yards from center. My coworker told me to try the G20, but over all the i20 helped me get excited about golf again. Very forgiving #some shots I hit should not have been straight, but the club compensated for my faults). After hitting some great shots I got more confidence and started to hit further and accurate. The look is a great plus.

Great Driver
Date:May 5, 2012
I purchased this club about 2 months ago and now have played more than 10 rounds with it. I originally was looking at the Razr Fit. I am a 9 hdcp with a swing speed around 105. I got the stiff shaft in 9.5 degree. I hit this on the simulator and compared it to my old Callaway 454 driver. I have been looking to upgrade drivers for several years and have not found one that was significantly better than the old callaway until now. On the simulator I found that I was pulling all of the drives with the Razr fit while hitting this club almost dead straight. I really wanted to buy the Callaway so I did not purchase anything after my first session in the simulator with both clubs. I came back several days later and went through the same process and the results were exactly the same. The distance was nearly identical but I hit the I20 far straighter. Being a Callaway guy I was a little apprehensive buying the I20 but I could not argue with the results. On the course this is now playing out. I hit this club a good 15-20 yds longer than my old club and what I have found is that nearly every shot I am hitting it right off the sweet spot. I cant really explain that but after each shot I look down and you can see a ball mark right in the center of the face. I am in NJ and we have yet to have any really warm weather so I am excited to see how a warm ball jumps off the face. I am not sure if its the optics of the matte black finish or what but now I can show off where I hit each drive. Long and straight off the tee, now I just have to work on the rest of the game. This is the best driver that I have ever owned and would recommend it to anyone.
