The Ping i20 Iron Set is multi-metal iron set that offers optimized performance through progressive set design. The forgiving, high-launching long irons blend into more-penetrating mid- and –short irons, offering control for precise shot making. A dense tungsten toe weight provides forgiveness across the face for accurate results as well as a high-launch, low-spin trajectory. Distance control and a solid feel come from a thicker hitting area and stabilizing bars in the cavity and a low moment of inertia about the shaft axis gives golfers the ability to shape shots with confidence. The set is finished off with a non-glare chrome finish and black-and-silver color scheme, offering a players’-style contemporary look.

Rated 5 out of 5 ping i20 kick epon butt i traded my 200 usd/club epon af 701 (game improvement) set for these cast better players irons. because they are easier to hit, easier to launch, better feel, more forgiving, everything. and that for a fraction of the cost. also tried the anser forged 2012 (as you understand by the epons, cost is not the decision maker), but found them way more complicated and not as nice feel. these are put in the better player category but should really be considered by everyone br/lee, 15.6 hcp January 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome irons I played TM R11 irons which I liked the feel and they were long. My accuracy was about 85% to the green. I still was not satisfied so I went to Golsmith and the tech there had me hit several irons. When I hit the Ping I 20 they were straight and I could also work the ball. So out the door I went with them. I have been playing with them for a month and my accuracy has improved 100%. I found myself putting for birdies instead of pars. Thanks Golfsmith and Ping for taking my game to the next level. August 10, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I20s - Not just a players club These clubs are for those who want some help without large offsets. Also for those who have grow tired of falling in love with irons with reduced lofts so they can brag to their friends about how they are hitting a 6 iron where they use to use a 4 or 5. If this is important to you look at the G series. They can help with some distance but they are built for a golfer who likes accuracy and feel. By the way they still hit long. Long live Ping and 17-4 Stainless Steel. April 28, 2012
