TaylorMade RocketBallz Tour Driver

The TaylorMade RocketBallz Tour Driver offers a Tour-inspired head. Flight Control Technology (FCT), which easily allows you to adjust the loft (±1.5º) and face angle (±3°) on your shots. A thick-thin crown design creates a lower center of gravity, which promotes higher launch for more distance.

A lightweight shaft and grip promotes faster swing speed for more distance and the speed-enhancing head aerodynamics promotes faster head speed for more distance. Inverted Cone Clubface Technology promotes more speed and distance on off-center hits and the white crown and black face makes alignment easy and eliminates glare on top.

Worth the hype!
Date:April 7, 2012
I must start by saying I have been a PING advocate since I started golfing. I am a 15 handicap. I have a swing speed of 105 mph and WAS using a K15 9.5 deg stiff shaft. I hit the ball very high and could control the ball flight half the time (draw, fade, etc). With the K15 I could hit it 250-270 consistently. I knew I had the swing speed to hit the ball further and also control the ball flight better. I decided to get fitted for a driver. Best move in the world. I tested the PING G20, RBZ, and RBZ tour. PING G20 was dead straight but 30 yards short than both of the RBZ's. I was blown away at the RBZ tour because I could control it so much better than the reg RBZ. 10 yards shorter but the shot dispersion was way better. I asked the fitter why he had me on a tour head and he said, "With your swing speed you don't want such a high ball flight/spinning head and this one has the shorter shaft for better control". I fine tuned the driver to one notch upright and one notch higher ball flight and now I hit medium trajectory, piercing draws and fades when I want to. This driver keeps my misses at a minimun (everything stays in play) so I save about 4 strokes a round. I have had drives of 306, 298, and 290 numerous times. I would definitely consider this driver if I were you. Swallow your pride and get fitted for this white monster. MOST IMPORTANTLY, GET FITTED IF YOU PLAN ON BUYING ANY CLUBS. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY OTHERWISE.
Pros: Durability, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value

Rocket!!
Date:February 10, 2012
I just left a demo day with taylormade rep on their launch monitor. I play a R9 460 9.5 w/ ust s flex shaft and put a lot of spin on the ball. Was launching between 13.5 and 15 deg. He handed me the RBZ tour 9 deg stiff. 12 degree launch, 278 yds carry up to 288 on a couple really good swings! Club head speed went up 3mph too! . I also hit the R11S but hit the RBZ past the R11S consistently. I stopped by range at my club and hit a few balls and this thing is the real deal! Hitting it longer and a tighter shot dispertion too. I cannot wait to play this thing

Fantastic

I upgraded from my R9 460 to a RBZ tour driver, 9 degree with the TP shaft. It is amazing. I highly recommend for someone looking to get some extra distance. Even on mishits I had better distance and didn't spray it around as much as the R9.
The only con so far was that the white scuffed pretty easily when I accidentally dropped it on the concrete at the driving range (I'm an idiot).
Pros: Features, Quality, Easy to Use, Good Value
