Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Golf Ball As a senior golfer (12 Handicap) I look for golf balls that I think might help my game. I bought these 50/50 balls a couple of years ago when they first came out and wasn't impressed. I purchased some again a few weeks ago, mainly because I liked the Orange and Yellow colors offered and this time around I was definitely impressed. I get the distance I need and the soft fee around the greens and I love the Orange color. I shot a personal best 73 using this ball and I bought 4 dozen. It's a really great ball for the money and it comes in a great fall color. September 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Soft feel and a great price If you are going to buy a low compression two piece ball, the Fifty should be near the top of your list. The panhead dimples are a proven technology, as Wilson has been using it for several years. The soft feel can make any iron feel like hitting a pure shot with a forged blade. The yellow and orange color choices are nice too. For me, the orange is much easier to see in the air and on the ground. This is a much better ball than others at the same price range. Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely Crazy!!! I'd be a skeptic... I am when I read reviews. But I'm not a paid writer. I'm not a shill for Wilson. I'm a weekend hacker, probably like you... And I love this ball. I picked up a sleeve for free playing on a business trip in So. Cal, and, because orange is my favorite color I played them. Now keep in mind I have a garage full of Callaway Diablos and the last ball I tried was the Hex Chrome (not the Tours). Well, given my hacker status how was I to know (unless I paid for an expensive lesson or spent every waking moment scouring golf blogs) that going to a softer ball could actually make me longer and straighter? Who would have guessed? Well - it did. I feel more confident over the ball because in the back of my head I'm not so worried about that wicked slice that I developed using a harder (and incidentally much more expensive) ball. My golf buddy wonders why my distance has gotten so much better. I tied my all-time best round last week... Yes, I'm playing in the low eighties since making the switch. Seventies here I come..... Now don't get all crazy and buy 500 of these things. I learned the hard way that a golf ball is a very personal thing, surprisingly. But give 'em a try. I did, and the results are showing.
