The Odyssey Metal X D.A.R.T. Putter represents the latest chapter in a long history of game-changing innovations from Odyssey. A Metal-X insert, which is the lightweight aluminum outer layer’s oval depressions, maximizes the mechanical lock with the golf ball dimples and creates a lower launch with optimized topspin for reduced skidding and the truest roll in the game through steady ball deceleration. A urethane inner layer provides soft touch and saves weight to optimize performance while the two layers combine for crisp responsiveness and sound.

“Overnight” shipments will arrive the next business day (excluding weekends and holidays) after departing Golfsmith. “2-Day Air” shipments arrive in two business days after departing Golfsmith. Shipping delays may occur during busy Holidays or in the spring -- we will do our best to accommodate last minute and expedited orders placed during these times.

Most orders are shipped within 48 hours of online placement. Orders must be placed by 9am (CST) Monday-Friday in order to be eligible for that day's “Overnight” or “2-Day Air” shipments. And the Metal X technology, which I thought was just marketing hype...it WORKS, you can feel it interacting with the dimples on the ball. In my first practice session with this putter, I made approximately 20% more putts from the 10 - 15 foot range as I typically do with my Scotty Cameron Select Newport which I've used for the past 3 years. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great feel and balance. I have had problems putting the last year which is all due to alignment. I was using a Scotty blade style putter and couldnt make short putts to save my rear. I played with this at the store yesterday for 2 hours and was really amazed how I could make 65% of 8 foot putts and 90% of 3-4 footers. Took it out for a league event last night and had 14 putts on 9 holes and shot a one under 35. It is amazing that even on 35-40 foot putts the aiming creates a much shorter tap in instead of a 4- 5 foot comeback. A must try. June 5, 2012
